Upcycled Hoodie with Vintage Quilt Block Appliqué – Adult Size M

This one-of-a-kind sweatshirt is the embodiment of cozy. Made from a soft, thrifted Disney hoodie (originally featuring a Christmas Mickey Mouse graphic), I gave it a second life by covering the old design with a hand-sewn vintage quilt block I sourced and rescued. The quilt piece—a classic Dresden plate pattern in pink and white tones—was made by an experienced quilter and has charm in every stitch.

I machine-appliquéd the quilt block right onto the sweatshirt, preserving the structure of the original patchwork while making it wearable art. The hoodie itself is a comfy medium weight cotton/poly blend with a front kangaroo pocket and a large hood.

Each piece I make is totally unique and made with thrifted and vintage textiles—perfect for folks who love sustainable fashion, upcycled clothing, and handmade style with a story.
